Abstract:	台灣能從二次大戰廢墟中迅速崛起，創造舉世聞名之「台灣經濟奇蹟」，中小企業實佔有相當重要的關鍵地位與貢獻。本文採個案研究方法．，內容旨在探討中小企業應如何有效地推動合理化工程，並舉台中一家本土小型塑膠製品廠商為個案研究對象，實地發掘、分析其現有經營管理問題點，進而提出具體的改善對策及效益評估。本文目的除在提升個案公司之整體營運績效外，也希冀此一模式能做為其他業者推動合理化工程之借鏡與參考。
