Abstract: 一般而言,大部分的家庭及商業場所中並無三相電源可資使用,因此,在這些場所中的所有電動機均需透過單相電源來運作。然而,由於單相電源無法產生旋轉磁場,是以此因素便成為設計單相電動機時的首要課題。傳統的感應電動機沒有了這個旋轉磁場是無法運轉的,故需加入特殊的設計來驅動之。由於單相電動機沒有自生的啟動轉矩,因此,就以一組旋轉磁場強過之另一組磁場的方式來推動電動機,並促使其往其中一個方向轉動。單相感應電動機因結構簡單已成為廣受歡迎的單相電動機。蔽極式電動機為僅具有主繞組之單相感應電動機,它採用凸極而不用輔助繞組,且將其繞上稱為蔽極線圈之短路線圈。因為蔽極式電動機需靠蔽極線圈來產生啟動轉矩,因此,關於蔽極的研究就顯的格外地重要。對單相蔽極式電動機而言,其輸出功率與轉矩由其結構來決定,是以蔽極的設計便成為一個重要的影響因子。本論文採用有限元素法來求解蔽極式電動機的二維電磁場問題,論文中有數組設計方案被求解並被討論,所得結果可提供作為設計蔽極式電動機時之參考。
In general, most homes and small businesses do not have three-phase power available. Therefore, all motors must run from single-phase power sources for such locations. Therefore, due to a single-phase source does not produce a rotating magnetic field, so that is the major problem associated with the design of single-phase motors. Since there is no net rotating magnetic field, conventional induction motors can not work, and special design are necessary. Because a single-phase induction motor has no intrinsic starting torque, it starts by the method of making one of the two revolving magnetic fields in the motor stronger than the other and giving the motor an initial nudge in one direction or the other. A single-phase induction motor has been a popular single-phase motor for its simply structure.
A shaded-pole motor is one of the single-phase motors. It is an induction motor with only main winding. A shaded-pole motor has salient poles instead of having an auxiliary winding and one portion of each pole is surrounded by a short-circuited coil called a shading coil. Because shaded-pole motors depend on shading coils for their starting torque, the research about the design of shaded poles is very important. In a single-phase shaded-pole motor, the output power and torque are determined by its structure. Thus, the design of its shaded-pole becomes an obvious factor. In this thesis, the finite element method is used to solve the two-dimension electromagnetic field problem of a shaded-pole motor. There are several designs are solved and discussed. The results we got in this paper are useful for the design of shaded-pole motors.
