Abstract: 「BIOLOID」，是一組多功能的機器人套件，能夠依照我們的想法，組裝成各種型態的模組，BIOLOID機器人擁有「組裝式樂高」的優點，可以組裝成各式各樣型態，也就是能夠把組裝無限延伸，BIOLOID提供軟體設計介面、電源控制器、多功能感測模組與智慧伺服馬達，透過組裝整合的方法，讓我們設計出的機器人可以做出各種動作。
BIOLOID機器人的運作，藉由接收到的各種資訊（像是感測模組與伺服馬達的資訊），來協調整體的行為。
例如：
1. 客人進門時，機器人會彎腰敬禮迎接客人。
2. 機器狗聽到一聲拍掌聲後會站起來往前走。聽到兩下拍掌聲後機器狗會停止前進並坐下。
3. 機器恐龍能夠避開障礙物。
