Abstract: 一般中小製造業皆專注於生產快速，產量增多，卻忽略生產作業知識的提升，快速生產往往影響產品品質，降低競爭力。A手工具公司在人才培育的思維上，
從未接觸過相關現場作業合理化專業知識及訓練。基於此，本研究以精實生產James P.Womack及Daniel T.Jones所定義之五大步驟進行實地改善，實證研究的方式進行，旨其目的在提升製造業人才專業及技能。研究中提供30門課程給企業界從事手工具製造、專業知識與技能之需求，最終篩選為11門。希冀研究結果能協助工廠作業現場的人員對於人才培訓有進一步的了解，也為現場作業合理化專業知識及訓練建立初步基礎。
茲將本研究之主要結果摘要如下：
1.現有各單位研發、生產與業務等單位的人力資源可以減低20%。
2.新產品開發週期可以減至12%。
3.在製品庫存可以減至15%，使工廠空間增至提升13%。
4.成品庫存可以減至10%。
5.品質不良率降低3%。
