Title: 台中地區參與慢速壘球運動現況之研究

Abstract: 本研究旨在探討台中地區慢速壘球運動參與現況，以全面普查方式針對台中市2007年秋季聯盟慢速壘球錦標賽之運動員計15隊429名球員，進行問卷調查；目的在於瞭解慢速壘球運動參與現況，亦期望提供體育行政單位等相關部門，在推動慢速壘球運動上制定政策時參考。研究結果發現：
一、有近七成的受試者有定期繳交隊費。
二、超過六成的受試者以專屬慢速壘球場，作為平日練習或比賽之用。
三、超過九成的受試者會利用假日參與慢壘運動，而大部分受試者是因在身心方面有所追求而參與慢壘，而非僅是以消磨時間為目的。
四、超過六成受試者之參與同伴為同隊隊員，顯示此運動是屬於團體性而非單獨性。
