Abstract:	「台灣四面環海，本島的海岸線總長約1140公里。」史家瑩(主編) (2010)。社會第二本。台南市：翰林所以有著充斥著流動的河流、河川等各種流動的水域，若能善加利用水流產生能量，一定能為台灣的能源危機帶來轉機，所以初期我們以製做水力發電為目標進行討論。在討論過程中，我們發覺「地球上的海洋面積約三億六千多萬平方公里，約是陸地面積的兩倍半，占總面積的71％。」謝志豪(主編) (2012)。自然與生活科技。台南市：翰林但是台灣的河川雖然分布廣闊可是流動的水量卻不多，若能在非雨季時期也能順利運轉，勢必需再依賴其他能源，因此我們決定在原有的風車結構上再加裝風車結構，希望此機構能更加多元化。
