Abstract:	近年來因不當開車門的肇事率升高，所以交通部修法要求汽車駕駛人或乘客在下車開啟車門時，必需使用兩段式開啟車門的方式，為了減少意外追撞的事故發生，因為大多數汽車駕駛或乘客在到達目的地的時候，都會直接開啟車門而不會留意後方是否有汽車或機車接近，因此常常因為一時的不注意造成機車騎士因閃避不及而撞上的情況，也有因為沒注意後方機車而直接開門導致機車騎士身亡的案例。
