Abstract:	對餐廳和住宅而言，過去幾年因火災而損失慘重，對業者和生命，都是慘痛的經驗。而火場中最恐怖的殺手是濃煙，因內含一氧化碳及有毒微粒，「人只要吸了 3 口就會昏倒，昏倒後超過 7 分鐘，就可能喪命」。為了防止發生不幸的意外，本專題所製作的智慧型排風扇，可在火災發生期間所產生的煙，將其排出。本系統所搭配的感應器會偵測煙霧密度多寡，間接來控制排風扇轉速快慢，讓使用者能不被濃煙影響視線所困，看清逃生路線，更快逃出火場。使消防人員進入火場中能明確撲滅起火點且順利搶救受困人員。
