本系於2005年成立,培育「批發零售」、「倉儲物流」、「廣告行銷」業所需具備通識人文素養與管理資訊能力的初、中階「行銷企劃」與「流通營運」專業服務人才;並傳授「行銷企劃與數位應用」、「流通營運與門市管理」二大類專業知識,使能有效成為專業職場達人。為呼應產業人才需求,本系於2012年增設休閒事業組課程以培育休閒事業所需之初中階「休閒行銷企劃」與「休閒事業經營」專業人才。本組發展特色為建置休閒事業行銷與經營專業領域學習環境。本系除了學習理論課程之外,大四學生的實務專題製作與校外實習的課程設計,有助於學生深入了解業界的經營狀況,以求實務與理論之相互印證。
Department of Marketing and Distribution Management was established in year 2005 for cultivating student as the beginning & medium level professionals on “marketing planning” and “logistic operation”. Students are trained for the manners of general education humanities and the ability of the information management and specialized in “wholesale retailing”, “warehouse logistics”, and “advertisement marketing”. The course is designed for training student with two major types of knowledge: “marketing planning and digital application” and “logistic operation and store management”. In order to response industry’s human resource requirement, a leisure business course is introduced for cultivating student as the beginning & medium level professionals on “leisure marketing” and “leisure business management”. The course is designed for training students with knowledge of “leisure business management and marketing.” In addition to the course learning, the course design of projects writing and internship practice for seniors helps them to understand business operation and creates a balance between practical skills and academic theory.
