Introduction:
電機工程系以培育職涯知能並兼具設計、製作、研發及維修知識與技術的高級電機工程技術人才為主。本系發展規劃,以電機控制與應用、電能應用與管理及晶片實務與應用三大方向為主軸,涵蓋的領域有:微電腦介面控制系統、機電整合系統設計、電力品質監控及電力電子與電能應用、積體電路設計、晶片系統與應用、光電半導體技術、電子材料。 電機工程所秉持整合理論與實務的教育理念,致力於培養電機電子高科技產業之研發人才。課程的設計以研究理論與驗證實作並重,培育研究生有分析問題和實驗技巧的能力,成為可以支援產業界的優秀人才。 本系所積極爭取國科會、教育部及產學合作等各種專業的研究計劃,以提高學術研究及技術研發水準,並增加產業技術服務的機會,與產業界密切的相互結合,積極推動建教合作以增加學生就業能力。
The department is committed to the career intelligence and professional knowledge and technology. Students have the resources and guidance to become competent engineers who are capable of incorporating design, R&D, maintenance, manufacturing, and management into their professional settings. The development of the department includes micro-computer interface control systems, mechatronics system design, power quality control and power electronics and electric power applications, integrated circuit design, chip systems and applications, photoelectric semiconductor technology, electronic materials. The Graduate Institute of Electrical Engineering engages in integrating theory and practice. The goal of this Institute is to educate students to be professionals of engineering research and development in the future. Therefore, the curricula are to be R&D of high technology electrical and electronic industries. The department always positive strives for more research opportunities to improve the academic researches and enhance the skills and improve knowledge from national science council and ministry of education. In addition, enhance the opportunities of enterprises’ technological service and collaboration with enterprises closely. Besides, the department also offers cooperative opportunities with industries/factories to students to have work abilities. The department is committed to the academic success and professional development of each student. Department students have the resources and guidance to become competent engineers who are capable of incorporating design, R&D, maintenance, manufacturing, and management into their professional settings. Future development of the department will focus on electronic technologies, control systems, and electrical power systems. We also seek to improve the quality of our student's research skills and knowledge by providing more research opportunities. These will include integrated circuit design, chip systems and their applications, optical-electronic semi-conductor technologies, and electronic materials. In addition, PC-based control systems, mechanical-electrical integrated system designs, electrical power system quality monitoring, electrical power electronics and applications will be offered. Besides the regular curriculum, the department also offers students cooperative opportunities with local industries/factories, enabling students to gain hands on experience.
